[Reiko, like always, is smiling but...there's something a little different to her smile this time.]
That old woman came back a while ago. Whatever Obaa-san needed that mirror for, it didn't work. Kind of makes me feel bad but heh. We've talked a few times since then.
[She laughs.] She really is the strangest old woman. Guess growing old alone does that to a person. She's not that bad, even if she's weird.
[Then she pauses, just for a second.] She doesn't have anyone left. Just an old tree at her house to keep her company--even someone like me can understand how lonely that could be. For all her weirdness, it's not that much of a hassle to talk to her.
[Another small pause. She's still smiling but there's a hint of something different to her voice.]
She offered to let me live with her. That'd be a change... Can't say what I think of that yet.
